Install

User guide

Set up Zoho CRM Sync in about five minutes and keep Shopify and Zoho CRM in sync.

1. Install the app

Zoho CRM Sync connects one Shopify store to one Zoho CRM account.

  1. In your Shopify admin open Apps, find Zoho CRM Sync and click Install (or enter your store address on our website).
  2. Approve the requested permissions. The app only reads customers, products, inventory and orders — it never changes your Shopify data.
  3. The app opens inside Shopify admin on the Dashboard with a short setup guide.

2. Connect Zoho CRM

Use the Zoho user that owns or administers your CRM. Records are created as that user.

  1. Open Settings in the top-right of the app and click Connect Zoho CRM.
  2. A Zoho tab opens. Sign in, check the organization, and click Accept.
  3. Close the Zoho tab. Settings shows Connected with your organization name and data center.
  4. Wrong account? Click Disconnect, sign out of Zoho in your browser, then connect again.

3. Products & inventory

Each Shopify variant becomes one Zoho CRM product. Stock is the available quantity summed over all locations.

  1. Open Products & inventory and choose the sync mode: All products (everything syncs automatically) or Only products I select.
  2. With Only products I select: tick products in the list, press Sync selected, check the field mapping and press Save mapping & sync.
  3. Selected products are saved in the Selected for auto-sync tab and update in Zoho CRM every time they change in Shopify. Use the Auto-sync switch on a row to turn one product on or off.
  4. Field mapping: choose which Shopify field fills each Zoho CRM field (custom fields included). Product Name is required. Press Re-sync to push a new mapping to existing records.
  5. Deleted products or variants are set to inactive in Zoho CRM so your order history stays intact.

4. Customers

Shopify customers become Zoho CRM Contacts.

  1. Open Customers, keep Sync customers on and press Sync all now once to send existing customers.
  2. Contacts are matched by email first: an existing contact is linked and updated, never duplicated.
  3. New customers and every change (name, phone, address, marketing consent) sync automatically.

5. Orders

Orders become Zoho CRM Sales Orders with line items, linked to the buyer’s contact.

  1. Open Orders and check the Sales Order status values (Open / Fulfilled / Cancelled) match your CRM Status picklist. Leave a value empty to not set Status.
  2. Press Sync all now to send orders from the last 60 days.
  3. Shipping, taxes and order-level discounts are added as the Adjustment, so the Grand Total equals the Shopify total.
  4. Payment, fulfillment, edits and cancellations update the same Sales Order.

6. Fix failed items

If Zoho CRM rejects a record, it appears under Failed items with the reason.

  1. Read the error: it names the field, for example “Required field missing: Region”.
  2. Fix it in Zoho CRM (make the field optional or give it a default value), or change the field mapping.
  3. Press Retry all failed. The app reads the latest data from Shopify and tries again.

7. Plans & billing

Plans limit the number of distinct Shopify products synced. Customers, orders and stock updates are unlimited.

  1. Open Plan in the top-right to see your usage and all plans: Free (5 products), Starter (1,000), Growth (5,000), Unlimited.
  2. Choose a plan and approve the charge in Shopify. It is billed on your Shopify invoice every 30 days.
  3. Over the limit, new products are skipped (orders still sync). Upgrade, then press Sync selected or Re-sync.

8. Uninstall

You can remove the app at any time from Shopify admin → Apps.

  1. Syncing stops immediately. Everything already in Zoho CRM stays in Zoho CRM.
  2. The app deletes its stored data for your store (tokens, ID mappings, logs) within 48 hours.
